After the Pre-Evaluation survey, the next step is to take stock of what you’ve got and what you need. If you reside in the DC metropolitan area, Sly Rooster will visit your home for a PANTRY MEETING. Either face-to-face or remotely, we will assess your current pantry situation (taking a peek into the refrigerator and freezer, as well).  We’ll organize what you’ve got in stock while removing those items that are just taking up space or are out-of-date (happily taking any worthy ingredients to Martha’s Table on your behalf).  You will learn why a well-stocked pantry is the essential jumping off point for all of your culinary endeavors.

Re-organization will be followed by a comprehensive PANTRY STAPLE LIST detailing what you need to achieve the previously elusive well-stocked pantry. This itemized list will include detailed information on where you can find each item (store/aisle specific).  You will also receive FIVE ‘GO-TO’ RECIPES that make use of these pantry staples along with some seasonal items.  These recipes will be selected specifically for your family, based on information garnered from your Pre-Evaluation survey and Pantry Meeting.  They will be pulled from a variety of reputable sources (cookbooks, blogs, magazines, an extensive personal collection) and will always be tested prior to being shared.
